  • The Multi Controller MC-8 and compatible receiver MR-8 is recommended for use with RC cars or to control an original machine.

     

    Control up to 8 channels.​

    In radio control models, a channel is used to control a moving part. 2 or 4 channels is generally used in previous RC cars, but the MC-8 is available up to 8 channels (CH A-H).

     

    When using with an RC car.​

    Generally, 2 channels are to be used, one for steering of car and the other is for throttle (acceleration and brake) of the car. The both are controlled by stick operation. Movement amount of each channel is the same value for each stick. So you can control the machine as you visualize.

    Required units for 1/10 touring car or M-Chassis. for example.

        ・Radio controller: MC-8+MR-8
        ・Speed Controller: VFS-FR2

    Required units for Star unit, for example.

    You can select operation method by channel setting.

    1)If you assign the steering to CH-B, throttle to CH-C; you can operate like a game controller.
    2)If you assign the steering to CH-D, throttle to CH-A, you can operate like a stick radio for general RC cars.

    You can add several Accessory Function controls.​

    You can use each channel, except the steering and the throttle,freely according to the purpose you want.

    For example, you can add LED lamps in the headlights as a setting like headlights flashing using CH-F or CH-G, add 4WS system as a setting to control steering for each the front and rear tires with CH-B and CH-D, and also attach a crane or winch that can be controlled by a 20 step operation with CH-G and CH-H.

    We also recommend using the MD-1 RC car ESC Type of MD-1 Quick Reverse Type for use of small motors that are 370 types or smaller (diameter 24mm) and to control LED light or buzzer.

     

    You can enjoy changing commercially sold craft kit to a radio control model.​

    For example, if a general wired remote control model adds the MR-8, MD-1, etc, it will be converted to a radio controlled model with ease. This will be controlled with more distance and adding servos, LED, etc, with more controllability. There are many modification possibilities with your imagination, so please enjoy your ideas.

    MC-8 and MR-8 are recommended for use with the models you want to customize.

    We recommend using the MD-1 for use of small motors that are 370 types or smaller (diameter 24mm) and to control LED light or buzzer.

     

    Children can use MC-8 easily with the small size and light weight body.​

    MC-8 is less than 200g even when batteries are installed. Children can use this for a long time without getting tired. The product is designed for use by children and adults in mind for less discomfort. Parents can enjoy the product together with children, too.


     

    Safety even when used by small children.​

    The security design to prevent battery removal by children is adopted.

     

    MC-8 uses AAA batteries, but the design securely fixes the battery cover with a screw. A screwdriver is required for removal of the battery cover from the unit. The screw also has a fall prevention washer so the screw will not be lost.

     

    Also the battery box design will not allow the unit to turn on if the batteries are inserted incorrectly.

    After usage, you can turn off the unit with a long press of the power switch, but if forgotten to be turned off after 5 minutes of non-use (total of 10 minutes after the alarm) it will shut down automatically as a safety design.

     

    Includes compatible receiver MR-8

    MR-8 is compatible with the MC-8 receiver. (Receiver accepts the radio signal from the transmitter and outputs signals to each device.) The format of the signal from the MR-8 is general RC, so you can use it with our servos, ESC and each device in a RTR set.

    (※1)We have confirmed the TAMIYA XB Series, KYOSHO RTR.
               But we can not test all models, so we can not guaranty all models.

    MC-8 has a reverse function that can change the signal directions, so it can change the signal when the signal direction is reversed but the direction of the installed devices. Also the end point can be set to help prevent servos from being broken by over operating the steering. MC-8 has the necessary functions to operate RC cars and customization to satisfy you.

     

    MR-8 can be used with easy operation. Please insert connector to the channel you want to use. 

    For example, if you want to control the steering with CH-B of the MC-8, insert the connector of the steering servo to B of the MC-8. Turn on the MC-8 and then the MR-8 to control the steering with the MC-8.
